Murdoch rival paper NYDN on child endangerment charges against Fox News reporter Douglas Kennedy:

NYDN: "A money grab" charged Kennedy's lawyer. Kennedy: “We are sickened by the fact that our simple desire to take our healthy baby son out for a walk has been warped into child endangerment. Nobody should try grab a baby from a parent’s arms, as these nurses tried to do."

WNBC: Kennedy was "quietly arraigned on misdemeanor charges Thursday night."

And then Joe reveals the Scarborough Doctrine --how morning cable shows like his on MSNBC (or is he just fingering Fox News?), talk radio (he didn't say conservative, but what else is there?), the Internet, trigger "evil" in the minds of members of Congress and the malleable moronic masses.

Joe: "Back, uh, when I got into Congress you didn't have as much screaming, yelling on both sides. Uh, but now somebody can wake up in the morning and they can turn on a cable channel where people are going to reinforce all their preexisting prejudices. And then they can turn on a talk radio show that can do the same thing. And then they can, if they're like my mom, they can then go to an Internet site at night, and so by the end of the, day, hi Mom, by the way sorry about that, at the end of the day the person on the other side is not wrong, they're evil, and that's a big problem.
Letterman: You mentioned uh, morning cable TV shows. You used to have one of those right?
Scarborough: I have one, I have one.
Letterman: Not after the little Jay Leno thing.
Scarborough: Yeah, exactly. What are you going to do? I guess they'll pay me.

Right out of the box Letterman pimped Scarborough's seven years as a Republican member of Congress from Florida and Scarborough pimped back about wanting "to go to Washington to make a difference." Scarborough unexpectedly gave up his seat less than halfway through his fourth term.

Letterman: Why did you decide to end your representorial career?
Scarborough: I, uh, y'know I, I sorta stumbled into it when I was twenty-nine, I started campaigning early and I had little kids, and y'know, seven years later, the little kids which you'll find out soon, they become middle school kids, and when they become middle school kids all hell breaks loose. You don't want to be away from home for 200 nights out of the year. You've got middle school to look forward to, my man!

Scarborough, elected in 1994, quit Congress in September 2001 and married #2 -- a congressional staffer -- a month later. In July 2001 a female employee was found dead in his Florida district office.

Please, God -- Howard. Say it isn't so. The 73-year-old conservative blowhard was finally let go by MSNBC last week after 10 years. Buchanan blames "a vast left-wing conspiracy" calling for his head over a new book that offends liberal sensibilities. But liberals have been after his aging ass since MSNBC hired him.

Howard: "He has no evidence MSNBC caved to outside pressure. Now, it's true that liberal critics denounced his new book, 'Suicide of a Superpower,' for its inflammatory arguments on race and immigration which such topics as 'The End of White America.'"

"And MSNBC president Phil Griffin has said the book's arguments aren't appropriate for a national conversation. But Buchanan has been saying this sort of stuff for decades. He hasn't changed."

Race-baiter and MSNBC blowhard Al Sharpton's Lincoln Navigator impounded by police after Al's driver, waiting for The Man in a LaGuardia no standing zone, was asked to show the Lincoln's registration which turned out to be suspended. For what? No car insurance.

Al's Navigator was towed and impounded. But not before he put up a stink. NYP

A tongue lashing he later rolled back when the Post rang him up. "I don't have a license. I don't drive. I don't have anything to do with registration or insurance." Call "my media company."

So how long did Al cool his heels sans wheels? “I just called another car. I keep on rolling."

CNN Chucks Larry?

Although Larry King's CNN swan song was in 2010, he had a deal to produce four specials a year there. Wednesday CNN announced the end of the deal.

CNN claims both Larry and CNN pulled the plug. NYT's Brian Stelter "Larry King's CNN Coda Comes to a Close." (Awesome alliteration, Brian! I adore alliteration!)

But one wonders. Perhaps CNN wasn't thrilled after news broke a month ago that Larry is doing an online deal with Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim who practically owns the New York Times.

Larry: “I have nothing but love and respect for CNN, and I’m looking forward to all the wonderful business opportunities that I will now dedicate my full time to.” (Eschew preposition at sentence end.)

CNN: “We have the greatest respect for Larry and wish him the best of luck with his new endeavors."

Dead again.

Larry's last special ran in December: "Dinner With The Kings." Larry toasted his 25 years at CNN, adding "I want to be frozen on the hope that they'll find whatever I died of and bring me back."

Larry was frozen out of his 9p slot in late 2010 by a starf**king narcissist Brit now targeted in that UK tabloid scrum phone hacking scandal.

TIME mag's European, Asian, and South Pacific editions, jabs Jon Stewart Tuesday, feature "an in-depth piece" on Italy's new prime minister.

Here? An abject waste of TIME. "I'm not saying TIME has a low opinion of its American readers but when the editors of Highlights For Children got pitched the same pet friends story they said, 'It's a little soft, isn't it? Our readers are kids but, you know, they've got heads.'"

This is hilarious. Even though Stewart stole TIME thinks Americans are stupid from Slate mag's L.V. Anderson.

You're giving the news of this death the same way in Times Square they pass out nail salon coupons. That's not right! "

Fox's Greg Kelly returned to Good Day New York Friday after being cleared of rape allegations. But Tuesday the NYDN quotes the woman's sister's Facebook spin blaming the media for twisting the "facts" to protect Kelly.

This was the last line -- rather than the first line -- in the NYDN piece: "But a source close to the investigation disputed the sister’s account. There is a deep inconsistency between what her sister is saying and what the evidence shows.
