Past Their Prime: Fox Business Network Nixes Prime-time Shows

Fox Business Network is jettisoning its prime-time lineup February 20th, replacing the political-oriented shows with repeats of 5-8p's Gerri Willis, Neil Cavuto, and Lou Dobbs.

Why?  Ratings.  The current occupants of FBN's prime real estate -- Andrew Napolitano, David Asman, and Eric Bolling will stay on as "contributors." Brian Stelter NYT

  2. Interesting that Fox kicks NBC ass, FNC vs. MSNBC, but can't get close to CNBC with FBN.

  3. Why does FNC keep Juan on the payroll?

  6. But I am nutz about Eric Bolling.
I hope he stays on The Five.
When Juan is on The Five, the show is discredited.
He must know where the bodies are buried.

  10. Oh yeah, but how does Fox not have monster leverage with cable systems, given the ratings on FNC?

  11. I cannot answer that, Jim.
