NBC's Today Show Globes Snow

The Joker Al "Who are you wearing?" Roker (in Zegna). I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree . . .

Today's Natalie Morales and Nicole Richie speak of the pompitous of love "Nicole Richie great to have you and we can't wait for the  premiere of 'Fashion Star'.  It happens right here on NBC!"  (Today vid)
The Gray Lady -- New York Times -- is sounding more like Monday's NBC Golden Globes-pimping NBC Today show gangsters of self-love with this blow-by-blow Globes live blog chronicling femmes' frocks.  Among other things.  Tweets from twits.  To wit:  NYT's media star David Carr:
Dunno.  How much?  You give a rat's ass?
Ya think?
Bollocks!  Ask Piers Morgan.
And a nod to NYT's "content-sharing' agreement with NBC.
NYT's Brooks Barnes: "Backstage at the Globes was its usual free for all, with Internet connections in the press room failing to connect (despite a $350 fee, required in advance) and media credentialed for the wrong rooms. You’re broken into a strict caste system here — TV front and center, with lowly print people downstairs and around the corner."

Another thing:  superstitious NBC -- praying to the Mayan Gods for prime time ratings before TV As We Know It ceases to exist 12-21-12 -- had no Table 13 at the Golden Globes.

  1. I watched Today 7-10a.  Honest to God! Three hours of this Golden Globes fluff with the Today show crew on site for the NBC broadcast.

  4. I think you meant "quaffing."
Or they could've gotten Gayle King who hardly got any flak for announcing after her Michelle Obama Jodi Kantor book interview that she, Gayle, is Michelle's "friend."
I heard it when I listened to the tape but was also guilty of not picking up on the remark which CNN's Howard Kurtz did on his Sunday media show Reliable Sources.
