Let's Face It, Soledad's Tight Face Flops in Cable Morning News Race

Even plastic surgery can't tighten the cable news morning ratings race.
Ending point.

Plastic surgery?  Who, me?

A new, improved in-your-face Soledad at the helm of a new, improved CNN a.m. show hasn't resulted in new, improved, face-saving ratings with total viewers hovering in the low 200,000s. In the golden 25-54 demo: 66,000 low, 115,000 high.
Before
Before Starting Point Jan. 2, 2012 debut.
I'm guessing Soledad's surgeon's starting point:  tightening and thinning facelift, eyelifts, maybe lifting the brows.  Possibly cheek implants.  For sure face fillers and wrinkle freezers.

  1. While I"m on plastic surgery and TV types, have you checked out Diane Sawyer lately?  Her latest attempt to rell in the years strikes me as a bit much.

  2. I did not recognize Soledad in that Jodi Kantor interview last week that got tons of media buzz.  Seriously.  I had no idea that was Soledad because of her extensive surgery.

  3. Maybe she just took an enema with a vacuum cleaner.

  4. The poor woman's facelift, Jim.  Didja ever notice Miz O'Brian's annoying, intent, baiting maybe, tight-lipped smile after she asks a question?  I just want to deck her smug, surgeried mug.
