NBC's Rock Center: Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out

At NBC "there's a lot of work to go around."  So says NBC News president Steve Capus on the hiring of Chelsea Clinton in yet another NYT pre-Chelsea Rock Center debut pimp:  Tune in Next Week, as Chelsea Clinton Emerges from the Shadows.

NBC pimping out Chelsea Monday the 12th will lure leery eyes to the ratings-challenged Brian Williams newsmag vehicle.  The ratings suck. This Monday Rock Center dropped 18% from the week before.

I'll have to admit, out of sheer morbid curiousity, I'll tune it just to see if Chelsea totally sucks or not.  I saw part of one episode of Rock Center mostly to see Tina Fey and I wasn't impressed with the show.  I'm DVR'ing this one episode to see if she is any better than Jenna Bush (who is totally talentless on TV).
