CNN: 'Clean-up on Aisle 4!'

Bellows CNN reporter Jim Acosta after running a clip on Wolf Blitzer's Situation Room Tuesday of Newt Gingrich accosted in an Iowa grocery store cheese aisle:  "You're a fucking asshole."
Wolf choked the chicken at the end of Acosta's piece:  "At the top of your piece I didn't exactly hear what that guy in the grocery store, the supermarket, said to Newt Gingrich.  I know he used a bad word, but paraphrase a little bit what he said, uh, to the, Republican, uh, candidate."
Acosta:  "Uh, well Wolf it's not the kind of language I would use on a, on a family program such as this.  But, uh, there was an F-word involved.  Um, and, uh, another word that I don't even think I want to try to rhyme.  But it was a very ugly moment for the former speaker.  It is something that, uh, he will admit himself.  He, he  arouses passions in people that sometimes can, can really vent themselves out on the campaign, campaign trail and add up to some very ugly moments and that was one of them."

Wolf, licking his chops:  "It certainly was."

Mediaite on the "Iowa vet":  "Fortunately for the U.S. viewing public, a camera situated just behind Gingrich’s sizable cranium captured the entire exchange, which CNN promptly broadcast on The Situation Room."

  2. Wonder if that type of clip, with that content, would have made it on CNN, if it involved Obama on the campaign trail??????????

  3. The fact that it appeared on CNN does not obviate the fact that Newt really is a Fu**ing Asshole.

  7. Oh.
    A FUCKING asshole.
    The worst kind.
It is funny to see cable nets like CNN worry so much about dirty words, when they can say any fucking thing they want without FCC interference.
In fact, given their need for a fucking ratings breakthru....

  10. So you think Gingrich orchestrated it himself?  Romney more likely, no?

  11. I was thinking Romney. If it is, he better be careful as this could severely backfire on him.
