Cain is hardly the first political candidate to suffer this kind of
scrutiny. But a faulty memory is a weak defense when the national media
is chasing your history. As soon as humanly possible, Cain needs to find
out what was in the complaints and settlements and get the facts on the
table. If he doesn’t, someone else will.

<p>The Mainstream Media is completely out of touch with the American Public. Why did Politico wait 10 days to publish this tip from "anonymous source"??? Waiting for Herman Cain to peak so they could knock him off? I would have a beer with Herb ;)

The faulty memory is a stretch. If you'd ever been accused of sexual harassment, rightly or wrongly, would you really let it slip your mind? Come on! Cain should have been out front from day one.
