CNN's Wolf Blitzer Primed To Do A Line

Debate line dancers try to trip up spinning Newt.

NYT
As for the reality show debate theatrics employed by CNN and MSNBC, the NYT quotes 11-time debate moderator Jim Lehrer: “My God, if they keep this up, the next thing somebody is going to say is we’re having a debate underwater at 5 a.m. Someone should remind them these are being produced by the news divisions of these networks, not the entertainment divisions.”

These debates are, in the immortal words of Brewer & Shipley, "One Toke Over The Line."

UPDATE Rush Limbaugh Tuesday: "Wolf is prepping.  Wolf is rehearsing.  From what I'm being told, Wolf Blitzer is rehearsing various retorts to Newt Gingrich, and he and his staff are trying to think of various things that Newt might say to insult them.  It's sort of like preparing for hecklers."
