I was in my local Barnes & Noble this week: There was only one copy of Matthews's book left on the new best sellers' shelf. Bummer! The prick's gonna make a lotta dough. Makes me sick.
I actually like Chris Matthews sometimes but I am getting soooooo tired of him pluggin' his book. Did you seem him on Now with Alex yesterday? Holy wow, does this guy think he is all that?!?!?! While watching Hardball lately, I've had to turn the channel because I can't stand listening to him yak about this book. Unfortunately, when I flip to CNN, OutFront is on and I can't stand that vapid corporate shill Erin Burnett for very long. What's a girl to do?
If it's not his book(s) he bored me to death yakking about running for the U.S. Senate. A girl is to do as I do: start reading Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, and Mickey Spillane.
