CBS Early Show: Real Cheese v Processed Cheese Product

Upscale?  MSNBC's Morning Joe's eye-rolling Mika Brzezinski and scowling Joe Scarborough "upscale?"   The Daily Beast's Howard Kurtz:
Howard Kurtz "Morning TV's Tabloid Turn"
GMA's Robin Roberts to Howard: “I want to be No. 1. I don’t want to sell my soul to the devil to be No. 1.”

But all these ratings-driven shows compete viciously to buy the devils' appearances. Today, GMA, and CBS Early Show reap what they sow.

  1. CBS should return to what once gave them their highest ratings:  Get a guy with a captain's hat and a jacket with big pockets, a sock puppet named bunny rabbit, and a sidekick named Mr. Greenjeans.  For that edgy younger demo appeal, let kids pick which jacket pocket isn't the dreaded Perv Pocket, leading straight to his pants.  Fun for all.

  2. Well there goes that child hood memory. Next you'll tell me that Engineer Bill's train going into a tunnel is something else too  :-D

"Perv Pocket" Don't think I've ever heard that one. Can I use it? It's quite funny.

The concept, that is.  I'm keeping the jacket.
