Over in Queens, WNBC reports "New Yorkers have the chance to leave their mark on a piece of Queens."  NYC is looking for a name for the nameless $45 mil park that used to be a JFK airport commuter lot. Queens Courier

“The new Queens Plaza Park will be a tranquil oasis for office workers, residents and visitors alike," gushed one official named in Mayor Bloomberg's press release. Deadline for submissions is October 26th.

Unlike Zuccotti Park where unsolicited emissions sully the oasis.
William Black, (planetary exit 1983) chairman of the coffee company Chock Full o' Nuts, must find, from beyond, the irony a gas.  Zuccotti is now Chock Full o' Nuts.

NYT: Perhaps Mr. Black foreshadowed the struggle playing out at Zuccotti Park with the closing line of his Chock Full theme song: “Better coffee a millionaire’s money can’t buy.”

So why is the 99 Percent quaffing obscenely expensive Starbucks?

You're upset?  Mr. Black is REALLY upset.

  1. I haven't seen Juan Valdez in Zuccotti Park (although his ass seems everywhere).
I urge the OWS crowd to continue to behave in a manner calculated to destroy whatever public support they have.
