  3. Since Marty will be gone into August, this would be a good time to remind folks that you've got until Sunday night to vote for nominees into the Radio Hall of Fame at www.radiohof.org including DC broadcasters Tony Roberts and Carl Kassel.

  10. shhh. still no one here but me.
Obama looked like a sissy driving the Volt.  Matthews got caught defending FOX live, MSNBC made him tape a do-over.   Sanchez doesn't understand the meaning of illegal, thinks it's Spanish for Senor.

  12. oh, happy day.  chelsea is married now and it only cost several million to get it done.  nice girl, though. well, sort of.  she forces her guests to eat a gluten-free wedding cake.  so glutens, whatever they are, must be bad for humans to eat.  who knew? who knows what glutens are anyway?  maybe it's a tofu cake in disguise.
happy wishes to the bride and groom.

  14. Hope you're enjoying your vacation, Marty.
I saw "Reliable Sources" this morning and Howard's guests said that Chelsea's wedding is getting so much media attention because everyone loves weddings.  Howard, to his credit and my surprise, said that when Jenna Bush got married, and her father was the sitting president, it made page A23 in the NY Times.  Chelsea's wedding made the front page of the Times today.
