Felon hosts. If Eliot Spitzer can stage (with the fawning help of MSNBC and that gerbil Dylan Ratigan greasing the skids for the CNN gig) 'a comeback that makes Nixon look like a slacker' (Walter Shapiro) there's got to be another scumbag just waiting for a chance to make big bucks as a TV news talking head.
Any suggestions?
ABC's on a roll. Check out the week to week, year to year numbers for 'GMA' showing growth in total viewers and the demo where there are losses at rival NBC 'Today' and CBS 'Early Show.'

G. Gordon Liddy. Those gold commercials won't last forever.
ReplyDeleteFor grownups who actually know about and care about the news, Schieffer offers more than the competition combined.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Jim. I know Bob through you and would much prefer to watch his show than the competition. Wait until Christiane Amanpour gets her teeth into 'This Week.'
ReplyDeleteAlmost as bad as Arianna Huffington's annoying, unintelligble accent.
Agreed! Enjoyed George, Tapper doing a good job, but when Amanpour shows up, I'm outta there. Chris Wallace? Love Bob. In my witness protection land, can see all 3, but tuning out Gregory.
ReplyDeleteI know schieffer leans left but he is better then the others, I can't remember when it was but my daughter took me to hear him speak when he came to ft. worth where he is from, and liked him ever since, his brother was a partner with bush in the texas rangers i believe, I do like tapper also.
ReplyDeleteMe, too, mtnherbal!
