Huffington Post. Even 'organic' is funny if one is referring to Eliot Spitzer's clothespin penis, as in Organ ick.
MSNBC's paranoid Keith Olbermann, noting that CNN's 8p slot has been a revolving door of hosts, wished John & Kate at 8 'best of luck' to the Huff Post's Danny Shea. Not 'Good night and good luck.' Bummer.
Fox's designated hitter Greta Van Susteren wasted no time crowing on her blog. This is bad news for Keith Olbermann since if CNN is to be successful, it will have to draw viewers from Keith Olbermann's viewers. The total number of cable news viewers seems to be a limited number so they have to grab from Olberman. (You might ask why I don't mention above Bill O'Reilly whose FNC's O'Reilly Factor also airs at 8pm? That's obvious -- O'Reilly is SO FAR AHEAD OF EVERYONE IN ALL OF CABLE NEWS that NO ONE can lay a glove on him. No one even tries to compete with O'Reilly so I don't include him in this discussion! O'Reilly dominates the cable news business.
Spitzer will drain Olbermann's . . . viewers. Perhaps years from now Eliot's path to perdition will end in salvation in the Museum of Broadcast Communications for his role in terminating Keith Olbermann's TV 'news' career.

cannot believe spitzer is really going to have his own show, and it is for sure parker, the ratings will be high at first because everyone is going to want to see what he talks about, and as for parker, it wont be long before she bashes the right, they are going to love that she hates palin, I may be wrong but cnn is just right for her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tempest in a thimble! Why don't The Socks and the Box, and Keith O., share their total audience? Perhaps, in a public bathroom stall.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you so obsessed about what's going to happen to Keith Olbermann? It's Mark Koldys' job to think about him all the time and write meaningless blog postings hoping for his demise.
ReplyDeleteGreta is correct in that the few viewers (after the first 2 or 3 shows) will primarily be siphoned from Olby's show. Where else would they come from? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteAs for proglib, It's actually not just Koldys' job to illustrate what a leaking douchebag Mr. Olbermann is. It is the job of any clear thinking rational person to point out (via blogs, print, tv, or word of mouth) the many "off the wall" inaccuracies of Herr Olbermann, and the fact he makes it so easy is kind of a bonus for all of us.
I'm not obsessed. I used to like Olbermann and watched him every night until he went seemingly nuts. I loved him when he took over for the ailing Jerry Nachman in 2003. I'm disappointed in Keith.
