Not Their Cup Of Tea

Liberal radio talk show host Bill Press (disclaimer:  my friend) now believes Fox is turning Fox Business Network into Tea Party TV.  Press is quoted in Brian Stelter's Monday NYTimes piece suggesting Judge Andrew Napolitano's Saturday 'Freedom Watch' show which debuted Saturday on FBN is yet another indication the nascent network is skewing Libertarian:

Stelter: Mr. Napolitano seems to be part of a retooling at Fox Business, which started in 2007 as a competitor to CNBC. Fox Business, which has had trouble finding a loyal audience, does not subscribe to full Nielsen ratings. Saying it has had a “horrible time getting ratings,” Mr. Press said, “I think they’ve just decided to make it the second propaganda channel.”

A Fox spox didn't address the Tea Party TV charge.  Rather, the spox attacked messenger Bill Press (and not Stelter).  Talking Biz News nabbed the reax: "If anyone is familiar with being a ratings killer it's Bill Press who hasn't been able to maintain a steady hosting job on television since being dumped by CNN in 2002 and having his show canceled by MSNBC in 2003."

Bill was last seen standing on a wooden chair in his wife's weaving studio pressing his meat with one of his wife's handwoven scarves around his neck and over a ceiling beam . . .

Naturally The Huffington Post huffed into  a rolling orgasm over Stelter's piece.

Nice of Stelter to help Bill pimp his new book.

  1. It IS the Fox BUSINESS Channel, isn't it? Does Andy have his MBA?

  2. The "Tea Party" movement is a philosophy that more and more people are agreeing with. I guess if you don't agree with Obama's nonsense, then it's classified as "propaganda".

If common sense is considered propaganda, then I'm all for it!
