Will Larry King become the new Jerry Lewis now that he's hosting a CNN live telethon Monday 8-10p replete with celebrities and other CNN 'stars' to benefit victims and 'Wildlife.' [sic] Is CNN greasing the skids for Larry to ride Jerry's TV telethon train as the fourth-place network grooms Piers Morgan? to succeed Larry when his contract expires next May?
Read the weird press release with CNN referring to Larry as 'CNN original Larry King.' And Larry's quote: “I understand bureaucracy and that some things take time, but when you’re out of work, you don’t need help tomorrow, you need help today. I’m grateful so many friends and colleagues are coming out to support our June 21st telethon. We’re going to raise all we can to help the people and also the Wildlife [sic] that need it now.”
Given the dire BP oil spill forecast, and Larry's grim mood these days knowing his CNN days are numbered, the Dracula costume is fitting attire for the June 21st telethon . . .

"CNN's original" didn't join CNN til 1985, 5 years after its founding.
ReplyDeleteYeah, so what does that mean, Jim?
ReplyDeleteyour right marty, the black attire is perfect the way he looks now, dead. dracula king.
ReplyDeleteI was just noting how far back CNN is reaching to appear to be backing Larry, before they shove the knife in their ribs. That slot was originally occupied by Sandy Freeman, I think.
