While Tiger Woods Withdraws Prematurely, Barack Obama Ejaculates Again All Over The Media.

Playa Tiger Woods withdraws from the Players Championship over bad holes before the climax.  Woods blamed a bulging---- neck disk.  Translation:  he was playing lousy and didn't want to suffer the humiliation.  He hit only one fairway in six holes. Let the double entendres begin!  NYP:  "In a dramatic case of premature withdrawal..."

Not only was he playing like shit, Saturday the thin-skinned Tiger was verbally accosted by some snot-nosed kid who had just gotten Phil Mickelson's autograph.  "Tiger, say so long to number one. Kiss it goodbye."

Come again?  What a difference sinking holes in one hundred twenty-one women make.

Over in Obamaland, the thin-skinned president continues his rant against a media he cannot control.

Obama's Mother's Day commencement speech at Virginia's Hampton University: "You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t rank all that high on the truth meter. With iPods and iPads; Xboxes and PlayStations; information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment. All of this is not only putting new pressures on you; it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy."

NYT loved this quote: "With so many voices clamoring for attention on blogs and on cable, on talk radio, it can be difficult at times to sift through it all. Let’s face it, even some of the craziest claims can quickly gain traction. I’ve had some experience in that regard."

Obama in last week's University of Michigan commencement speech: "If you turn on the news today - particularly one of the cable channels - you can see why even a kindergartener would ask this question. We've got politicians calling each other all sorts of unflattering names. Pundits and talking heads shout at each other. The media tends to play up every hint of conflict, because it makes for a sexier story - which means anyone interested in getting coverage feels compelled to make the most outrageous comments. Now, some of this can be attributed to the incredibly difficult moment in which we find ourselves as a nation. These kinds of changes and challenges cause tension. They make people worry about the future and sometimes they get folks riled up..."

"Today's 24/7 echo chamber amplifies the most inflammatory soundbites louder and faster than ever before. It has also, however, given us unprecedented choice. Whereas most of America used to get their news from the same three networks over dinner or a few influential papers on Sunday morning, we now have the option to get our information from any number of blogs or websites or cable news shows."

In the U of M speech Obama called today's political climate "poisonous."

Translation: the White House failed to poison the Fox News Kool-Aid and news brethren who backed up Fox's right to exist in a democracy blessedly free of government press censorship.  Control freak Obama is crazed that he cannot shut up the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

  1. My question would have been, "Tiger, which is worse, bad lies or bad lays?"

  3. Both of them show that making it to the top can mean no more than showing the world just how low class one can be.
