The Fox News "Special Report" panelist's Kristol Meth-od of picking political candidates (the former Dan Quayle chief of staff was absolutely orgasmic about Sarah Palin) has deluded the media into believing he really means CNN's newly departed ratings cellar-dweller Campbell Brown would become a Republican and run for Chuck "I'd Walk A Mile For A Camera" Schumer's Senate seat.

Bill in the Weekly Standard: All the well-deserved praise for Campbell Brown’s classy statement announcing her departure from CNN prompts a thought: Brown is now a free woman, she's a well-spoken and impressive one, she lives in New York, and she has moderate political views. And she's a patriot who wants to serve her country. Campbell Brown should accept a draft (which I hereby launch!) to be the Republican nominee for the Senate against Chuck Schumer.

Some would take exception to those "moderate political views."   Just because Campbell's hubby Dan Senor worked for George Bush doesn't mean there's a trickle-down effect in the Senor household.

I can see Schumer gunning for Campbell now.  Campbell's a "quitter" for pleading with CNN to let her out of her contract because of disasterous ratings.  Brown would get the same Dem treatment Sarah Palin got for bailing out of her Alaska governor gig before her term ended.

Campbell complained she couldn't shed her "journalistic skin" to compete with her 8p rivals Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann.

Brown would be required to shed her thin skin to withstand the blood sport of politics. 

Looking into my crystal ball, I see Bill Kristol (a) attempting to create the same buzz when he ejaculated all over Sarah Palin, and (b) sticking it to CNN.
