NBC's "Today" Pimps My Bride

The annoying publicity whores, Obama State Dinner interlopers Michaele and Tareq Salahi, appear Tuesday morning on NBC's "Today" show (again) in a shameless cross-promotion May sweeps pimp for NBC-owned Bravo cable network's "The Real Housewives of Washington, DC" - starring the Salahis.

The NBC press release trumpets "The Salahis speak out."  Does anyone give a rat's ass about these narcissistic numnuts?

MSNBC pimps the Salahis in an interview Tuesday at 10 a.m.

  1. Does anybody give a rat's ass? In this day of people being well known for their well-known-ness, I guess some people do.

  2. I am really sick of these folks but more sick of the suits that sit down and say let's give them a segment. There is nothing happening with this delightful couple. There is no "there"---just arrogance and shamelessness. OK, time for some prozac.

  3. It is very apparent that NBC is no longer a viable "news" outlet. With conflict arising from cross-promotion of everything from other NBCU programming to GE profit centers (can anyone say "tilting at windmills"?), they have inexorably blurred the line between their entertainment programs and their news programs.

To paraphrase one of my favorite lines from the American version of "The Office": Say what you will about Fox, but they would never do that!
