"Hardball's" Chris Matthews is in Philadelphia. Recall when Matthews mused VERY publicly about running against Specter in the general election when he was still GOP.
Now THAT would've been a blowout with Specter sending a chill up Matthews's leg...
A wary Obama, fearful of attaching himself to losers like Jon Corzine and Martha Coakley - both of whom were defeated by Repub Senate candidates - is throwing Specter under the hackneyed bus.
I wouldn't mind seeing conservatives pick up both Specter's Senate seat and Sestak's house seat. When PA's other senate seat opens back up, let's have Lynn Swann give it another go.

ReplyDeletewell just saw with 1% in specter was leading big, I pray he loses, he is such a jerk, I thought also that specter might be easier to beat but then sestak is so far to the left that I think the state is not quite that left anymore, people are fed up and they may want someone that is more in the center,and specter can be that way where toomey is more to the right, I just cannot stand specter and want him to lose, also those unions will be out in force for either democrat.
ReplyDeletenever watch msnbc but just wanted to see what they were saying about the elections and your right marty, that chuck todd said that if sestak wins thats another story for toomey, with specter he knew how to run his campaign, and was prepared better, been there to long, been in washington, easy campaign to run, so its not so bad if specter wins, plus I think sestak seems very likeable, good-looking, kind of humble, that would help in the general, burns is losing, switched back to sean.
