MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Mika "Doris Day" Brzezinski goes solo on NBC's "The Marriage Ref" in a shameless NBC cross-promotion that made no sense. Mika's name isn't even on the website.
"We really haven't seen her in the afternoon," oozes Mika's on-air husband Joe "Rock Hudson" Scarborough after her appearance which didn't last more than 20 seconds. She vanished from the set after the mindless musing about socks.
"Morning Joe" pimps the last segment where Mika tells her fellow panelists she doesn't wear socks. Not even when she runs. Mika look gorgeous, perfect air brush tan, Herve Leger knock-off Band-Aid dress. Mika: "There are lots of things you don't have to wear and nobody would know." Woo-hoo! Like underwear. Think Mika goes commando?
The warring couple in question were at odds over the husband's labeling his tube socks so the wife could match them. The star panelists in the tritely titled "Joy Of Sox" were Howie Mandel, Bette Midler, and Craig Robinson. I've never seen this show and it's as boring as Mandel's germ obsession.
