I am leaving for the hospital to get a powerful antibiotic shot in my ass to kill this infection that simulated a heart attack with the tight chest, pain in the left arm.
I'll be back....
Tuesday a.m. update: I'm MUCH better today! That shot really helped! Had a rough night last night but am recovering from the worst infection I've ever had. You don't know how much I appreciate your get-well wishes and emails! I love my Chickaboomer family!

Get better!
ReplyDeleteRest, even!
Get better & that right soon!
ReplyDeleteI had a very bad sinus infection around last Christmas. Gave me a similar shot along with another one (Vitamin B12 or something like that). Was feeling much better within an hour!
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.
Hey Martino....I hope your symptoms go away soon...quite worrisome.
ReplyDeleteHope your Feeling better Marty.
ReplyDeletePain in left arm sounded scary.
I can't imagine any little bug getting you down for long. I have always found that tow double Long Island Iced Teas works for an infection. If the alcohol doen't kill it, you at least don't give a damn.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Today (Tuesday) I'm SO MUCH BETTER! The shot kicked in.
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been AWOL but I don't believe I have EVER been so ill from an infection...
Marty - you might want loop back with your GP on the cipro at somepoint. I had a coworker die of a massive heart attack during the Anthrax clean up at the Brentwood postal facility. Perhaps not an issue, but a discussion worth having to be sure that you did not have any damage to the muscle wall or valves. It can also cause erosion on cartledge in joints.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better Marty. I remember getting a shot in the ass when I was a little boy. It took 3 Doctors, 5 Nurses and a restraining table to hold me down...
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't believe none of us made an inapropriate reference to the "shot" in yer ass.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're on the mend!
Marty...
ReplyDeleteI pray you all is well. I look forward to you and jimbo being on the radio !
