Drill, Barack, Drill!

The late Senator Howell Heflin after he saw a 1989 National Enquirer telephoto lens snap of Ted Kennedy humping some babe on a boat in the Meditteranean:  "I believe the senator from Massachusetts has changed his position on offshore drilling."

So has Obama - lifting the ban much to the consernation of liberal environmental freaks and Republicans.

  1. It may be too little too late, but it's something, and the president deserves backing as he tackles all the NIMBY numbskulls.

  2. Yeah Jim, seriously. Barry will wake up on Easter morning and find some Republican support!

  3. So you always wonder what made him change his mind? Maybe he read the polls.

  4. Call me cynical but I think it's just a ploy to take some heat off of him by doing something that is popular with the average folks. Doing something on the energy front is vastly better than just kow-towing to the enviro crowd all the time.

  5. I agree with justthemiller. Obama has no intention of following through on offshore oil drilling - just like more nuclear power plants. He's full of shit and anyone who believes him is a sucker.

Mark my words. Just you wait.

This health care thing is just the beginning of Obama (caught by Joe the Plumber) telling people during the presidential election his goal is to "redistribute the wealth."

There's some evil strategy going on here....

  6. Well hell, if he can find any of my wealth to redistribute, he's welcome to it. I sure as hell can't locate it.
