Chickaboomer Bites The Big Apple

To NYC this a.m. for Talkers magazine's annual New Media Seminar Friday and Saturday.  Fox's Sean Hannity hosts a reception Friday night.  Much, much more.  I will have smoking gun video culled as per my custom from these talk radio events.

Am on Radio Hall of Famer Jim Bohannon's nationally syndicated talk show tonight.  10p-1a.  We usually do it out of Jim's studio at CBS News in DC.  Tonight we're at Black Rock - CBS News on West 57th.

Affiliate stations are on Jim's website.

Here is something to discuss MSNBC and CNN are beaten by the Cartoon Network ratings.

  2. That's awesome Marty, you are going to have fun this week-end, and going to Sean's reception should be really fun with all the different people he knows, wish he would do his show from their and we could see all of you live, now that would be fun for us, be sure and get some good pictures or video especially if there are any liberal kooks there, have fun and be careful. look forward to your special view of everything.

I hope you're having an amazing time! The weather is unseasonably warm right now, so enjoy it while you're here!

  4. With 40 years working in a profession in which only a pitiful few don't lean left of centre, the philosophy professor seemed unable to comprehend that the predominant audience of AM talk radio prefers entertaining hosts who may posses a world-view that differs from his own. Are they born wearing blinders or is that the price of tenure?

On a positive note, jimbo's entertaining enough for even that dim bulb of knowledge.

Good show! (Except that "Chick-a-boom" tune is stuck in my head.)

  6. I have rarely heard a more baffling take than your focus on Keith Olbermann being off the wall, but Glenn Beck being a "great communicator." What a dishonest portrait of MSNBC. Anyone knows that they gradually and finally came around to where they are now as a long overdue rebuttal to Fox being the voice of the Republican party for so many years.
I almost drove off the road when you said that. I certainly won't waste my time listening again and yes I know you don't care.

  7. Dishonest portrait of msnbc?? Now I know you are joking with us, a rebuttal to FOX NEWS ? You tell me anyone at FOX NEWS who is as disgusting, rude, and has said some of the most vile and vicious and even sick and personal things as keith olbermann. And don't even try to say Sean Hannity, O'Rielly, Beck , actually Sean is the one who we all know is very conservative but he has never been vicious or personal and if you watch FOX you would know this, msnbc is so far left the WHOLE day and when you have andrea mitchell who is suppose to be an unbiased journalist almost crying to a congressman that they have got to pass this healthcare fiasco for obama, no FOX is nothing compared to msnbc, there are just as many independents and democrats who watch FOX as Republicans, and who watches msnbc? about 100 people? And as far as listening again, I know it just hurts hearing the TRUTH, it can do that to you, almost going off the road. Please be careful next time.......
