I watched the entire hour of Glenn Beck's interview Tuesday with resigned NY Dem Congressman Eric Massa. At the end Glenn apologized for wasting his viewers' time. Au contraire. Massa was all over the map, waving an X-ray proving his cancer; a Naval Academy yearbook with hazing-like photos to prove Massa's "tussling" a guy's hair at a wedding or "tickling," "groping" a male staffer are steeped in military tradition.
On Beck Massa denied sexual wrongdoing. Turns out the allegations go all the way back to a month after Massa arrived in Congress. And there are smoking gun text messages. Beck's brilliance was allowing viewers to connect the dots by letting Massa hang himself - and by default, Obama, Rahm Emanuel, the White House, congressional Democrat leadership, health care, and ALL Democrats.
Glenn Beck used talk radio formatics rather than journalistic skills to expose a subtext much like TV ad subliminal messages. Mr. 12-Step Beck knew precisely how Massa was going to play himself.
The media frenzy over Massa has stolen the focus off Obama's March 18th deadline (before his trip to Indonesia) to Rahm through health care. Call it Massa's Revenge.
Glenn's revenge: forcing Mainstream Media to watch an entire hour of his show. Wait until the Tuesday cable news ratings roll in. I'm predicting 5 mil total viewers.
Ousted MSNBC Keith Olbermann talking head Wash Post columnist Dana Milbank is among the liberal media gleeful that Massa hasn't turned out to be conservative talkers' wet dream. Dana, this isn't about making Massa a hero. Peel the mushy onion. It's Democratic rot by association.
Before going not so quietly into the good night, Massa appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" where Larry asked if he was gay. Massa refused to answer the ?:

I watched the whole hour, it was both hilarious and fascinating to watch Massa repeatedly climb up the ladder to put the noose around his own neck.
ReplyDelete5 million? I'll say 3.2 million
ReplyDeleteOkay, anon, you're on!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't bear to watch much of the ex-Congressman's Massa-kisstic appearances.
ReplyDeleteThey were cringe-worthy. Like being in a Karaoke bar where everyone but the singer knows that the amateur crooner sucks.
Speaking of which, on that "are you gay" question? Despite changing attitudes these days, I don't know any straight male who would have responded to that question any way other than: "hell, NO!"
He's gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But that tickling thing creeps me out.
Apparently, the Navy didn't ask and he didn't tell.
ReplyDeleteShoot Gay, Straight, Nuts, Smart... Massa personally threw a monkey wrench into the carefully planned Obama Heath Care screwup. So is the big "O" any more normal ignoring public sentiment to get what HE thinks is right?
ReplyDeleteJust because you're sucking cock while jerking off 2 guys and taking it in the rear, doesn't mean you're gay.
