Permit me to offer The Katie Couric Defense against this Washington Post harpy's Sunday harangue fingering Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson as racists:
Katie Couric quoting a song from the annoying puppet musical Avenue Q: "Everyone's a little bit racist." Sing along with bitch as she shrink-wraps Harry Reid's Obama "negro" slur:
I meant sing along with this bitch:
Personally, my idea of racisim is Ray Stevens warbling 1962's "Ahab The Arab" on TV's "Sing Along With Mitch." Part of which Fox's Bill O'Reilly slyly played on Friday's show during an interview with Stevens pimping a new song skewering Obama's health care:
Explain what's so racist about a comical love song set in Arabia? Are you just labeling it as "racist" because it teases ethnic culture? If that's where your logic comes from tell me what made ethnic teasing so sacred since you're the one who says it's a racist song.
ReplyDeleteI'm joking, ACountryFan! Joking. I ADORE Ray Stevens... and Ahab the Arab!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine Stevens doing that song today? Ahab the Arab has morphed into Abdullah the Terrorist.
