Knock up heiress.  Promise to marry her.  Dump her for new babe.  Who knew Obama budget director Peter Orszag was such a fan of John Edwards? 

Orszag just announced his engagement last week to ABC News biz babe Bianna Golodryga (right) after just five months of dating.  Orszag claims all is cool between him and his former love.  

But not her Greek shipping magnate father.  Beware of Greeks bearing rifts...

MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell on "Morning Joe":  "It is an embarrassment for Peter Orszag as a key member of the President's Cabinet."

Orszag has been destribed as a nerdy wonk propellerhead.

Mika:  "It has absolutely nothing to do with his job but a lot of people in Washington are talking about it."

Nora: "It's probably a one day story for him."

Mika brings up the media obsession with Sarah Palin.  Yes, Mika, if Orszag were a Republican the story would be a media endless loop. Nobody follows up with the negative, subjective treatment of Sarah Palin and her family that continues to this day.

Nora:  "I had no idea nerdy was so sexy.  I had no idea he was the most eligible bachelor in Washington."
