if joe wilson were ever hauled into court for his "he lied" comment his defense would be the following. "your honor we offer in mr wilson's defense the following video tapes of candidate obama telling the american electorate what he would do to make the health care debate transparent" roll tape. Judge would then make a directed verdict.
Those who adamantly voted against him aren't surprised, those how adamantly voted for him don't care, and the rest aren't paying attention.
