ReplyDeleteAlan Specter is the slim ball lawyer who defended Ira Einhorn. If you don't remember Einhorn was the leftwing hippie who help start Earth Day. He murdered his girlfriend and stuffed her body in a trunk. The fled to France, was tried in absentia, found guilty and was ultimately extradited back to the US after decades, but with a no death penalty provision. A great made for TV movie "The Unicorn" is the story of this scumbag. Arlen was his attorney. Something to be proud of.
