argues that the "Tonight" show slot and broadcast network restrictions wasn't a good fit for Conan:
"O'Brien would be better off going to a cable network where he could push the boundaries of content and further unleash his creative spirit in ways broadcast networks could never provide."
I would not be surprised to find Conan on the Comedy channel or HBO where he could roll like he wishes.
ReplyDeleteThat's entirely possible, Bobcat, especially given how many Fox affils have lucrative syndicated shows at 11PM ET now, and how many times Fox has been burned with talk at 11 (everytime but Arsenio).

Plus Conan probably appeals to the same audience that tunes into "the Daily Show" and "Colbert Report."
