Miss America 2010: Miss Virginia. Caressa Cameron, left. She wants to be a TV news anchor. More photos and winners here.
The NYDN captioned the above photo: "No doubt this was Rush Limbaugh's favorite part of the competition!"
This was probably his least favorite. A contestant rips a page from Michelle Obama's Stephen King stylebook with this ghastly gown.

The funniest thing about the competiion was the captions used as the contestants were displaying their talents.
ReplyDeleteOne was doing a ballerina dance = tutu and all. Her caption read.
"Mary wants to be a pediatric oncology surgeon."
Another was singing and her caption said, "Janie's grandmother lived to be 103."
The other caption that I remember
displayed while one was singing was, "Peggy once visited a castle in Italy."
These women are beautiful, knockouts really, but someone shoud monitor what is used to promote them during the show.
That's freaking hilarious, Cara! i didn't watch it... That is so funny! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteA victory for those of us cursed with hirsutism, as it appears (in every picture of her) Miss America has hairy arms. Does this mean I can finally stop chemically defurring my own arms?
ReplyDeleteOh, gross! My grammar and spelling!
ReplyDeleteComments "were"; not comments "was"
I promise I can spell!
"competition" and "should"
Defuzzing: Consider cornrowing your arms.
ReplyDeleteThat's okay, Cara! You were just excited!
ReplyDeleteI'm not into hairy anything but my head...
The annual meat review has come along way from Burt Parks. Do they really still need to be displayed in stilettos and bikinis? That is a throwback to the old days in Atlantic City. I'm not sure what that proves today other than the ability to generate wet dreams..
ReplyDeleteOne comment I did hear was that These girls were a lot more well informed about political issues than most politicians are today. A giant continuation for womankind!
Do they really need to be in bikinis and stilettos? Judging by the way Miss America has dropped in ratings, they need to be in chains and leather.
ReplyDeleteThey used to wear chaste one-piece swimsuits.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jim, fishnets. Rush added to the pageant's ratings and media buzz. No one can deny that...
Yes, they used to wear those Esther Williams 1950's swimsuits. The biggest piece of fabric on these is the washing instructions tag.
