MSNBC Continues To Short-Change Viewers

The last time MSNBC ran (high-rated for MSNBC) in the can weekend programming instead of breaking news, the liberal Daily Kos whined:  "What are they, a high school radio station left on autopilot from Friday night to Monday morning?"

It happened again Christmas night when MSNBC refused to change course.  Rather than covering the breaking Underwear Bomber news, MSNBC went to tape.  Zzzzzzzzzz...

So much for news credibility, eh?  Change agents they ain't.

  2. Yeah, their ratings suck so their revenues suck so they pre-record to cut expenses so their ratings suck even more so their revenues suck even more so they find other corners to cut so their ratings suck still more etc. etc. etc.
Bottom line: Eventually, NBC is gonna have to decide if they wanna play television or not, and if so, then they'll have to invest upfront to make it work down the road.

  3. I like hearing "Your Place for Politics" or "The Place for Politics" (which one is it?) and then on Saturday afternoon I get to see a convict complain about having no boyfriends in some prison in Alabama.

It's "Sometimes Your Place for Politics and other times Your Place for Angry White Men Who Say They're Innocent."

I like my slogan better than MSNBC's.

  4. Where is Dr. Nancy when you need her? Maybe they should hire a proctologist rather then a gynecologist. They need someone to get their head out of their ass.

  7. Bobcat,

Speaking of cartoons, to think GE got in the entertainment biz because of Rudolph. "Hey Santa, maybe you and Rudolph can take these toolbags back to the Island on your next trip..."
