"Historic Vote" Over

"We're in the Senate, please!"  VP Joe Biden, presiding over the Senate health care vote, admonishes laughing senators when the roll call got to Harry Reid's aye or nay vote.  That wild and crazy Reid first responded "no." Passes 60 to 39.  All 60 Dems voted aye.  Reid only needed 51. The bill now goes to a House-Senate conference committee where the REAL work begins.

  1. I knowed everyone grabbed the audio and video of the vote. Every "AYE" is going to be in multiple campaign ads in 2010.

  2. I think they got old joe up early and off funeral watch to pick up old bobby byrd and make sure he was proped up to make his vote heard between sobs for his old recently departed buddy "last call" kennedy.

  3. When they lay out Bobby Byrd, I just hope they cover him in some sheet besides the ones in his closet with the eyeholes in them.
