Nearly two-thirds of NYDN readers think George Stephanopoulos is "too serious" for GMA.
George appears curious about his new morning gig: "I know I've got a lot to learn about the morning, and the viewers, and trying to figure out a way to serve them better is exciting for me, and if you can have some fun along the way, great." Richard Huff NYDN

ABC News President David Westin:"I'm not saying we're never going to do cooking on the program. It's a matter of how much cooking, and how we do it."
Senior Executive Producer Jim Murphy: "We're not going to blow up the morning television format. We'll still do parenting stuff and medical stories and, yes, once in a while we'll talk about diets. We'll do a little less of the really fluffy stuff -- what I call trimming the fat."
