Why can't MSNBC blowhard Chris Matthews take the foot out of his mouth that's connected to the thrill up his leg?
The loudmouth mused that Obama appeared to be in the "enemy camp" where he delivered that curious Caspar Milquetoast Afghanistan troop surge speech on LIVE TV. The cadets were underwhelmed and probably sickened by the political pimp designed to assuage angry liberals. A flat Obama read the teleprompter full of empty words and questionable, naive, pie-in-the-sky proclamations.
Matthews: "As those who watch me regularly probably got right away, my point was that the military up at West Point was probably a skeptical audience for President Obama given his strong position against the war in Iraq and generally more dovish image. I was wrong to make that conclusion based on the lack of applause or apparent enthusiasm in the ranks of officers and cadets last night."
It takes on to know one, and here's Matthews on the heels of the enemy camp thing branding Dick Cheney a troll biting kiddies' ankles. Memo to Comcast's Brian Roberts and Steve Burke: please throw sexagenarian Matthews under the bridge:
