ABC News Spin Cycle

Why isn't there a TV news category in ABC News People Behaving Badly "Bernie" awards?  The results will be revealed December 30th on Nightline.  Vote early and often.

ABC's DC Madam-stiffed Brian Ross:  "Barbara Walters has the most fascinating, we have the most scandalous and worst behaved. We decided to name our awards the "Bernies" because Madoff's world class financial scam and lack of remorse for his victims sets a new standard for scandalous behavior widely recognized by all investigative reporters."

The nominations were determined by the ABC News investigative team and Nightline staff.  So consider the source.

Ross and ABC News deserve the 2007 award for pimping hooker and john revelations that were shriveled by nervous lawyers after reports (discounted by some) that former ABC WH correspondent Sam Donaldson's phone number (as well as other media stars) was found in the Madam's voluminous phone records.  The result?  An embarrassing (for Ross) flaccid "expose."

The DC Madam (left with Ross) later committed suicide.

Vote and write in candidates for Chickaboomer's TV News Sick & Twisted Award.

1.  Keith Olbermann
2.  Chris Matthews
3.  Rick Sanchez (CNN)
4.  Anderson Cooper
5.  Jim Cramer (CNBC)
6.  Martha MacCallum (Fox News - for "don't you know who I am" ego eruption)
7.  Lou Dobbs

Add the political talking heads you love to hate...  The list is endless...
