House passes $1.2 trillion Obama health care with only one Repub vote. What did the lone guy get in return. The Hill knows why the freshman Repub voted with Obama. "Historic! Politically vulnerable Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid sweating bullets after WH thug Rahm Emanuel showed up at his office a day after Reid proclaimed the Senate wouldn't get to it until next year.
When it sqeaked by House Dems high-fived and "cheered wildly" while Repubs sat in stony silence. The same Dems won't be cheering when they're booted out of office in 2010.
Check out some buried stuff in the bill: gay benefits, labels on snack food, "a program to teach parents how to interact with their children."

And here I thought the real reason the sole Repub voted in favor was the BJ Nancy gave him earlier in the day.
Talks about a bill that doesn't have a change to see the light of day. It isn't even finished and they vote for it.
Nancy will be one busy woman next year.
This bill needs a pubic option, because it's fucked.
