Sacrifice Fly

Didn't Obama BFF and White House aide Valerie Jarrett promise that there won't be a "dry eye in the house" when Michelle Obama delivers her Olympic pitch in Copenhagen tomorrow?

I've got a gimlet eye after finding out what a "sacrifice" it was for the First Lady to fly at taxpayer's expense on a luxurious 757 to Copenhagen:  ""As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the president to come for these few days, so many of you in this room have been working for years to bring this bid home."  Byron York National Examiner

When Obama talked about transparency in his administration, what he meant was how transparent their actions would be.  For God's sake the First Lady is wearing a GOLD gown at an IOC do at the Copenhagen Opera House tonight.  Going for the gold!  Yeah we got it.

Politico: “If they’re going to add a new sport for the Chicago Olympics, corruption would be a great one — they’re really good at that,” said David Wallechinsky, vice president of the International Society of Olympic Historians, which is meeting in Copenhagen.

He's joking.  Sort of.
