My friend Mike Murphy is right. MSNBC is to cable news what the Politburo is to the Chinese Communist Party.
Politico's Michael Calderone on NBC political consultant Mike Murphy's (Republican) exchange with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow - making her second appearance on NBC's "Meet The Press":
Mike: "We have one-party cable networks now. One of each. What that does is dumb down the debate."
Rachel retorts: "Is Joe Scarborough -- which network is he on?"
Mike suffers no fools gladly: "He's on your liberal network."
Rachel snipes: "So how is that a one-party network?"
Mike: "I would take your prime-time and Fox prime-time and say it's the same dance toward dumbing the debate."
Uh, Rachel you're on The Big Network. "Meet The Press" isn't cable news recess. MSNBC Maddow masturbation. But your makeup looks good...

Yes, it's the big network now. But how long before the MSNBC tail starts wagging the NBC dog? We've already had MSNBC perverting NBC election coverage. They backed off a bit from that, but this is the wave of the future, folks. Read it and weep.
