ABC recently made overtures to Willie Geist, a one-time producer for Tucker Carlson who now co-hosts MSNBC's "Morning Joe," to join the network for a possible future role on "GMA," according to multiple sources. He remains under contract at MSNBC. Matea Gold LA Times
The Village Voice just fingered Willie as the best TV sidekick who deserves his own show (at a reasonable hour), suggesting Willie slide into the 10p MSNBC slot currently blasting Olbermann rerun tripe.
Hate to burst your bubble, VV, but Willie's more of a morning show kind of talent - not hard news 10p.
