Free, Forty, and Legally Single: CougarNation

Radio Hall of Famer and syndicated radio talk show host Jim Bohannon passes along this press release:

WORLD’S FIRST COUGAR SCHOOL AIMS TO TRANSFORM SINGLE WOMEN INTO COUGARS

The world’s first Cougar School debuts on Friday, November 6, 2009,  at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills, 1150 S Beverly Drive, Los Angeles CA.

“Millions of single women over age 40 are dissatisfied with the pool of bachelors they believe is available to them,” says Rich Gosse,  Headmaster of The Cougar School. “Foolishly they only date older men, not realizing that the best men are younger, not older, and available in much larger quantities. US Census Bureau statistics reveal an ever-shrinking pool of older men in America. The solution is to date younger men (cubs). That’s why we have created the world’s first Cougar School, which soon will be available worldwide, beginning with the premiere session on November 6.

LUCIA , “Queen of the Cougar Jungle” (KTLA TV), will teach the first Cougar School class. Students will learn the do's and don'ts of dating younger men, including:

* Who pays?
* When to have sex?
* Calling/flirtexting etiquette
* How to Dress Sexy and Classy

Lucia is the author of Lucia’s Lessons of Love and a syndicated columnist. She hosts The Art of Love Show on LA Talk Radio. [My note:  home of "Bipolar Nation"] She was voted Miss Urban Cougar in December 2005 by UrbanCougar.com

Single men are invited to attend the Convention, but not The Cougar School. The highpoint of the Convention will be the Miss Cougar California Contest. One cougar at the convention will be awarded the title and prizes, which include a free berth on The World’s First International Cougar Cruise, December 4-7, 2009.

[My note:  "Cub" not included.]  The Cougars' poster girl is Katie Couric.  Her Cub Brooks Perlin is in his 30s.  Katie's 17 years older.

Don't get me started on this cougar-older-women-preying-on-young-hunks thing...

  3. No, Anon, not ironic. I'm not a cougar. Maybe tried it a couple of times 20 years ago before they called 'em cougars.

    Jim: I've got a couple 70-plus cougars for you and Bobcat. They have all their teeth...
