Drudge headline. Chicago TV is speechless:
UK Times: Obama was greeted — as usual — like a rock star by the IOC delegates in Copenhagen — then humiliated by them. Perception is reality. A narrow defeat for Chicago would have been acceptable — but the sheer scale of the defeat was a bombshell, and is a major blow for Mr Obama at a time when questions are being asked about his style of governance.
Bee Gees "I Started A Joke" that started the whole world crying....and Glenn Beck is laughing like a mad man no doubt, after the pitchman in chief went down in flames.

"universal joint" better known as axelrod or axeldick if you like was on fox spinning that CHICAGO didn't have a good grasp/contacts with the internal politics of the IOC or some other bs ergo the loss. my question is if some poor sob at one of the companies obammy and his czars have taken over had spent the millions it took for obama, his wife, oprah, jarret and their respective staffs and equipment to fly to copenhagen for a failed sales call for a "deal" that at best put billions of dollars at risk for a possible "break even" return how would the obama admin. treat him/her?
ReplyDeleteAs I understand it, Mayor Dailey put tremendous pressure - calling in chits, IOUs - on Obama to make this appearance.
ReplyDeleteThe IOC couldn't care less.
I'm guessing this is proof that Obama puts his pants on one leg at a time.
ReplyDeleteGee I bet female "Big O" and Michelle had to stop by a Dunkin Doughnuts for a little drown your sorrows in sugar and latte.
ReplyDeleteOver the lips straight to the hips.
So are the IOC really Racist?
ReplyDeleteThis douche bag Olympic Swimmer Rowdy Gaines said this on ESPN. I'm still in a state of shock. I can't believe we couldn't get past the first round. I still thought the (Chicago) bid overall was the best. Maybe there is some hangover from politics, from the last eight years.
ReplyDeleteThat must be it. it's Dubya's fault.
ReplyDeleteImagine that: sometimes other nations and representatives act in their own interest and not for the "world's" interest? And all the charm won't change a bit.
ReplyDeleteI hope the President learns this.
And soon.
I knew someone would bring up the racist IOC angle.
ReplyDeleteWhat did Obama say about the U.S. implying it was America's fault for not getting the bid?
Two words: Beijing 2008.
Human rights violations. Tiannemen square. Don't fly, Obama.
