Don Imus on Fox: "The energy in this building is great! Unlike NBC where there was a negative vibe."

I've never had a good opinion of David Letterman.  Always felt he had a nasty edge that I found unpalatable - not to mention unwatchable.

Crusty old fart "Don Ho" Imus - not a Chickaboomer fave but I'm open to changing my long-standing opinion - warms up his Monday debut with his boss - FBN chief Neil Cavuto.  Friday on "Your World."

If Friday's Cavuto performance is any indiction, Chickaboomer's crystal ball divines Imus will be a huge hit on Fox Business Network siphoning viewers from MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, the Big 3 morning shows, and yes, even Fox & Friends.  Not to mention what Imus means to FBN subscriptions and distribution.

On hypocrite Letterman:  "I’ve always thought he was a creep anyway..  He’s an angry mean-spirited jerk… The stuff he said about Palin's kid... He’s a punk... I worked at CBS, they made you watch a film, human resources.  You're not supposed to have sex with the staff whether you're married or not."

Ding!

On Dan Rather: "He’s crazy. He’s a nice guy but he’s insane. Just go to Florida and put on a sweater and play bocce ball."

On Glenn Beck: "I love Glenn, but I’ll tell you this, it doesn’t end well."

  2. Imus has been on Radio for over 40 years. In New York for 38 or 39. He has been at the top then the bottom. He was also an addict and it's been 23 years of recovery.

Imus is the best interviewer on Radio and will always be a favorite of mine. 3 hours and 15 minutes to his debut on the Fox Business Network. Good Luck Imus. You will not need it though.
