Chris Matthews Refuses To Go On Glenn Beck

Jay: "Is there any political show you will not appear on?"
Chris: "Glenn Beck."

I know why.  Glenn's got better hair.  Not even "the storied George Salon at the Four Seasons [where] station after station of strapping Turkish men give the best blow-dries in the world and don't talk much"  can do much for Matthews's thinning rug.  But regular client Matthews leaves with that familiar thrill up his leg...

  1. Well, of course. Matthews says his job is to "Do everything I can to make sure Obama succeeds."

Meanwhile, Beck's job is to "Do everything I can to make sure Obama doesn't succeed."

Matter meeting anti-matter. The universe will explode.

Okay, Matthews ratings will explode but it's the same thing.

(Yes, the first quote is real the second one I sorta' made up).

  2. There are very few people on the face of the Earth that I find as reprehensible as Mathews. He's one of those people that I instinctively just want to "bitch-slap" because he is such a whiny, bitchy, know-it-all, sanctimonius pussy.

The only time I felt Chrissy was actually outdone by 1st class douche-baggery was when he was interviewed by Phil Donahue on his late MSNBC show. Phil actually out-douched Chrissy, no small feat.

  3. So Glenn Beck won't have Chris Matthews on his show is that what Chris Matthews is trying to say?

  4. Somehow I don't think the Beck staff has lost Matthews' invitation.

  5. Well, somebody better keep an eye on Glenn because I know he is so stunned and heartbroken. It could be so traumatic as to tip him off the wagon.

  6. Really, a journalist like Matthews who openly stated that his job was to do "Everyhing I can to make sure the Obama Administration succeeds" should be lucky to still be on television much less lecturing, implicitly, other talk show hosts.

Yes, Beck's rhetoric can be grossly irresponsible (and that's being charity).

But Matthews entire work is irresponsible.

    Give it a rest Chris.

  7. He's been on FNC shows how many times?

  8. When Chris is invited on Beck, he should wear a thick winter coat, because it'll be a very cold day.

  9. Chris Matthews is an obnoxious 65 year old dry drunk who only quit because he's diabetic. The blowhard still carries around that ego-driven personality...

    yuck.
