$3 Mil to Imus

The quick brown Fox jumps over the lazy brown Daily Beast.  The Beast's Lloyd Grove (email:  grovel) claimed Fox was forking over $25 mil for Don Imus.  But Huff Po's Danny Shea got the scoop that the fig is more like $3 mil.

Whatever.  The 69-year-old prostate cancer survivor may have to worry about getting it up but never'll lose sleep over money.

    FBN needs to get Imus a Big Coffee Sponsor he can sell.

    Starbucks has Mourning Joe...there must be some coffee company competitor out there who wants some visibility.

    They need to get some branding identification going on again. I think Bigelow Tea is still a sponsor of IITM. FBN are business people, they must now how this sales stuff works.

    There is a coffee that has the commercial, where it states it's chock full of nuts?

  4. I have not had a chance to see Imus yet as I am usually at work and no local radio station has picked up his new radio gig. Does he have the usual cast of characters from his old show?

    Bobcat--Don has McCord in-studio with him, McGurk back at WABC, and not a black face in sight anymore. (or maybe that's the answer: McGurk in blackface)

  9. Let me clear some things up about Imus on the Fox Business Network. 1. He does have a Black face on the show, Tony Powell. 2. Imus likes only his "Imus Ranch Coffee" which is not decaffeinated. 3. There are very pretty women on the Fox Business Network and they can be funny.

    Karith bombed out and Citadel did not renegotiate her contract. She also dragged the program down IMO.

    Now stop the quibbling and thank goodness Imus is on a real TV program not "Farm TV".
