Tuscaloosa Lips

Flyover Country Tuscaloosa, Alabama newspaper editor question in Scarborough Country: "I wonder if when called upon to speak to political audiences like the Republican fund-raiser in Tuscaloosa they [Olbermann & Maddow] so pointedly identify with the actual Democratic Party, as Scarborough does with the GOP?"

Answer:  No, that was "Hardball's" Chris Matthews exclusive domain at MSNBC where - off the clock - Matthews courted Dem political players and deep pockets when he was considering a 2010 run at Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen's "Seething Town Hall Stoic" Specters seat. On the clock Matthews courted frequent talking head PA gov Ed Rendell and gave face time to other Dem egos.   "Senator" Matthews's aggressive, transparent political aspirations went from backroom speculation to newspaper articles, the Internet, blogs, gossip columns, talk radio, cable TV, and on MSNBC's own precious air.

Matthews would've lost since Specter turned Democrat.  Now Specter's going to lose.

Joe Scarborough is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives on the Republican side of the aisle and was a politician before he segued into cable TV.
