Howard Dean: The Tedium Is The Message

Whoa, cowboys!  The media are jumping on Obama's trial balloon (public option "compromise") like rats off a sinking ship. Wash Post:  "Administration hints..."

Obama is not abandoning universal health care.  Former DNC chairman Howard Dean, making the morning talk show rounds pimping his new book on - health care - posits this scenario (while calling Bill Clinton "the most brilliant political mind in America") where Congress passes two bills - one with the so-called "public option," the other without.  Then screw the Repubs they know they won't get anyway as the Senate gets 50 votes.

Monday a.m. and the liberal Huffington Post is bleating in World War III headline fontWH SENDS MIXED MESSAGES.  Mixed messages, my ass.  More like deliberately confusing, diluted Linda Blair Exorcist head-spinning.

Maggie Rodrieguez-bot kicks off Monday morning on CBS "Morning News" with this to Howard Dean:  "Now that the president has wavered on his insistence of a public option.... the president is willing to compromise..."  (buzz phrase lifted directly from Monday's NYT)

"Wavering" my ass. 1:47 in.

Dean predicts the public option will be in the bill that Obama signs in December.
