The FCC's description of Mark Lloyd, Obama's Diversity "Czar" whose mission is to kill conservative talk radio with a reconstituted Fairness Doctrine of sorts: "Mr. Lloyd was most recently the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights/ Education Fund, where he oversaw media and telecom initiatives. Mr. Lloyd was also an adjunct professor of public policy at the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute, and from 2002-2004 a visiting scholar at MIT where he conducted research and taught communications policy. Previously Mr. Lloyd has been a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, the General Counsel of the Benton Foundation, and an attorney at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson. Before becoming a communications lawyer, Mr. Lloyd had a distinguished career as a broadcast journalist, including work at NBC and CNN."
If you were the Obama Administration, and you finally got to sit in the big chair (The Presidency) why would you keep giving your adversaries ammo to keep shooting you in the foot? The Public Relation Department in the White House, is one of those positions that haven't been filled yet? Look at Obama's poll numbers why would someone in the White House want to drive his poll numbers down intentionally? Why isn't anyone who wanted Obama to win the Presidency in the first place, doing any kind of intervention to stop the bleeding?
ACORN Network isn't helping calling American Citizens who protest a real poor piece of legislation: wingnuts and teabaggers. It looks like Glenn Beck is happy to pick up the offended Americans, in his demo.
Unless the SFD (stealth Fairness Doctrine) migrates to the internet, this would merely hasten the driving of the stake into the heart of towers and transmitters.
So did this guy AT LEAST pay his taxes? It would be a positive move for the administration.
Dis-barred and a lawyer? No Problem.
I'm guessing the next appointee will be someone who kidnapped and held a child hostage for a decade in a tent in his back yard for Health and Human Services Director. It would fit the pattern.
So is there anyone who can read working in the vetting department of the white house? Some of these candidates don't just have skeletons in their closets, they have an entire cemetery.
