FOX promo for Monday night's O'Reilly show for a segment with "Slobbering Media" author and former CBS News correspondent Bernard Goldberg.
O'Reilly's nemesis, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, finds himself between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Does he prattle on against O'Reilly and Fox in defiance of GE corporate bosses or does he ignore the GE/FOX on-air truce deal that Olbermann apparently abided by for a time but then reneged on?
Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR): While it's encouraging that Olbermann has made it clear that he intends to continue criticizing Fox where appropriate, what should one make of the silence of his bosses-- the people who, apparently, arranged this "cease-fire"? If GE's journalists indeed have freedom to report the news as they see fit, the company's executives should say so. If not, they should explain how and why they put this policy into effect.
FAIR: Call on General Electric to renounce any corporate agreement to limit the expression of Countdown host Keith Olbermann and other MSNBC/NBC journalists.

To FAIR and others: Keith O is NOT is NOT is NOT a journalist!!!He's a commentator who spews vitriol in every direction.
