Imus said in a context schtick comedy, it was a sound byte, they are insult comics, they are inclusive that's how equality works everyone gets their chops busted equally. nappy headed hoes, was over hyped, and it was an over the top reaction. The same words in different combinations, heard on rotation and over the radio air waves in rap and hip hop music everyday.....Barack Obamas said about Imus, he would never ever work for me.....did he take Imus's life into context? crickets, chirp, chirp, chirp.
Imus apologized in person after he was fired, and didn't have anything to gain. The proper response probably was the first decision calling for a two week suspension for IITM.
